Send me all your Vampires

A gazillion points if you can tell what song that title is from without Googling.

Anyway, I've noticed a pattern of late. It's slightly disturbing, but mostly mildly diverting.

I have way too many books about vampires. I've just finished reading the first two books in the Rachel Morgan series, where the main character is a witch and her roommate is a vampire. Before that, I was reading the Twilight series, where the main character is in love with a vampire, and eventually becomes one herself. Before that, I was revisiting the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles.

All in all, I worked out, I have 25 books that heavily feature vampires.

If people start forgoing the handshake or hug hello and just bite me on the neck, I'll understand.

I once went out with a girl who could of been a vampire. She loved giving 'hickies' and biting.

YEEEE-OOOUUUCCCCHHH. I squirm remembering the pain of it all.

Thus far, Michelle. I've still got all those books on your recommedations list to get through.

Andy - Glorious.

DB - I went out with a guy who was like that. I sometimes bite just mucking around, but my general rule is no teeth unless asked.

well thanks but no thanks from me!!

play biting is one thing, this was a whole different level.

I used to live with a guy that dreamed he was a vampire-wicca-goth... thing? He also thought he'd make a good cult leader and tried to convince me I was bi-sexual like him.

One night, he tried convincing a nice young lady who was visiting with a friend, that he had psychic powers after which she snuck away into my bedroom so it didn't turn out all bad.

Bruce - That's just weird. Although a good result for you

PT - Well, most of the Vampire books also have Werewolves, but I'm more a vampire fan.

Keri - will you be off to watch the movie 'twilight'?

Keri said...

If I can find someone to go with, yeah.

Not many of my friends are in to that kind of movie!

I read the books a few weeks ago as well.

Ahh ok. i noticed that a few people said the movie was pretty true to form compared to the books.

I hate it when a movie director butchers the story line from a book.

It opens tomorrow me thinks.

Actually, I have to admit I know this one because an ex loved the first third eye blind record and put that song on a mix tape for me...

DB - I'm thinking of saying to hell with it and just going by myself.

Andy - Of course you are.

Domino - I haven't heard anything about it killing Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter.

Evan - How do you do that? Every time I offer points, you know the answer.

P.S Come back to blogging.

Keri - by yourself?

Have you read any reviews of it yet?

i was wrong earlier.. it actually opens in december.

Keri said...

DB - Well, I'm not going to miss out!

I've seen some reviews by people who've seen it in the US.

Is it the first week of December?

Haven't read the Twilight books yet but love the Anne Rice ones.
Give me a Spike or an Angel and they can polish my broomstick any day ;)

Keri - 11th of december is the first date. Nova have had a compeition for it if you send in your best bruise photo.

Bruise? Pshaw! Us truly tough people/ accident prone fools don't dally with mere bruises.

Although the best one I had was when I did my ankle and my calf muscle and had a bruise from ankle to hip. It was huge.

My best was from going go-karting. being tall with long arms they bashed the kart frame. I ended up with bruises on both triceps from the shoulder to the elbow as well as two striped bruises on my back from shoulder blades to hip bones..

but crikey the go karting was fun!!
