For the eight thousand and fourteenth time

I just want to clear this up, once and for all.

I am not in Sydney to meet the Pope.

Or on a pilgramige.

I'm not going to World Youth Day.

I haven't brought a crucifix.

The closest I've come to WYD so far is seeing two nuns in severe habits with fluro orange backpacks at the airport.

I.am.not.here.to.see.the.blinking.Pope.

Okay?

No. Body. Cares.

That being the case, why bother reading or commenting 'Dave'?

Dave is actually....the Pope. And he's pissed. I rather think he has a little thing for you....

Naughty naughty Popey - remember those vows!

Gasp - she found out my true identity from my IP! And here was I thinking that she couldn't count to 9.

Why bother reading or commenting? Well its pretty self explanatory, I was bored, and looking for something interesting to read. So I came here, and unfortunately did not find anything interesting, and I posted to express my disappointment at the quality and content of your blog.

Makes sense? I'm glad we could have this little talk.

You know, I would have understood that the first time you came here, but to come back when you find me so objectionable? You're either a glutton for punishment or an idiot.

And Dave? if you're going to troll blogs, i'd think about hiding your IP so it doesn't reveal where you work.

Ok then. So, you're going to miss the Popemobile and all the interesting trinkets they sell along the viewing roads? :-)

I've already got a stand alone crucifix from the vatican and a rosary blessed by John Paul. And a statue of Mary from my first communion.

i've got enough trinkets, I think.

And pope mobile aside, I can't thhink of anything that interests me.

So, No Pope then! Nice blog however and I love , LOVE your quote about war! Have a wonderul day!

Keri said...

It's my favorite quote - by Bertrand Russell. Unfortunately in the five years I've had the blog it hasn't become less relevant.

I should probably explain my religious views in a post soon, because i'm sure some think i'm athiest or agnostic, and i'm actually Catholic.

Thanks for the lovely comment, Ronda.

I wonder of the 150,000 young Catholics to travel to Australia, how many haven;t quite made it to WYD celebrations because they're shacked up in a bedsit in Melbourne rooting like there's no tomorrow.
Just a thought.
Unlike Keri they'd have to lie and say they were in Sydney to see the Pope.

Are you in a Melbourne bedsit shagging a Catholic right now, Wah?
