Ant, I won't tell you then that it was home made Choux pastry, double cream centre, and dark and white Vienesse Couveture chocolate then.

Or that they were delicious.

Or that it was the dessert for one of my mothers fantastic roasts - with two types of potatos, honeyed carrots, roasted parsnips, home-made gravy, Yorkshire puddings and mint sauce.

Oh and it was a Gorello roast, marinated for two days in a Bouquet Garni and Red Wine marinade.

Iain - This is what comes of having two high-quality chefs as parents.

Funny though.

Jesus wept, Keri. Jesus screwed up his face like a sissy little girl and wept.

Being able to actually cook is something that all children should learn Keri. Sadly too many of the current generation are only able to cook something if there are Microwave instructions on the box...

Sadly many bums are only able to eat when directions to the nearest fast food outlet are on the billboard.

Sorry, Ant. Can't be helped.

Iain - I don't know what the deal is in Queensland, but in Victoria you are actually taught how to cook and about food nutrition for a minimum of two years in High School. You can then choose to do it as an elective right up to Year Twelve. And teaching competency in the kitchen starts in your own kitchen.
